Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center

Adjacent to the park is the Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Center, the first of its kind in the region. Opened in early 2023, the center is dedicated to:

  • Rescuing and rehabilitating injured or orphaned marine animals

  • Returning healthy animals to their natural habitats

  • Conducting marine science research to support biodiversity and conservation

  • Educating the public on protecting UAE’s unique marine ecosystems

Equipped with labs, aquaculture facilities, rescue pools, and a veterinary hospital, the center plays a vital role in ensuring the long-term health of marine life in the Arabian Gulf.
